I have found some of the most wonderful people in Orange County.

My husband and I fought his cancer for three years. We fought the loss of his business on 9/11. Now, I’ve been fighting to survive without him.
My Mother always told me You’ll never know in what form G-d will send his help”.
She was right. When my husband was on Hospice, we had to move to a smaller home, so he didn’t have to worry about falling on the stairs. I was crying and my friend said” Don’t worry, I’ll get help and we’ll start moving you”. And he did. He and his brother in law moved my dining room set, just to give me a head start.
When my husband had to apply for disability, help came from the most unexpected source, The Director of Community Services. Sometimes the paperwork can be overwhelming…He offered any avenue of help I needed.
My husband tried to do everything right for me prior to his death. Some battles I’ve had to face were totally unexpected and held the potential to steal the little bit of energy I had left. My friend directed me to a very knowledgeable person who put the right people at my disposal for immediate care.
The couple who visits with me and who knew of my husband’s death have always offered solace and prayer. They even offer Hope and a smile for the future-I can’t even imagine yet.
br> When my car breaks down and I need a ride-my friend is always there.
I have been invited to his home for celebrations with his family. I’ve even been told I could move here if needed…
My friend lives in the Village of Kiryas Joel. The Community Services Director who helped me lives in Kiryas Joel. The person who helped me with legal problems lives in Kiryas Joel. The couple who supported me spiritually and emotionally lives in Kiryas Joel. If I ever need to move here-I’ll be the only house on the block with a Chanukah Bush-but that’s OK with them-They are my friends and co-workers. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
